Our commitment

Ocean Respect

The ocean is not a stage and wildlife does not follow a script.

Ocean Respect is the principle behind every Ocean Friends experience. We believe the best way to enjoy the ocean is to protect it: observing marine life with patience, keeping a respectful distance and adapting to the real conditions of the sea.

Our responsible commitments

We do not chase wildlife

We approach with patience and keep a respectful distance. We never force an encounter or turn the ocean into a show.

Small groups, low impact

Private experiences limited to 6 guests mean calmer boats, less pressure on the environment and a more mindful experience.

We adapt to nature

Every trip depends on the sea, the wildlife and the conditions of the day. Nature always sets the rhythm.

We share knowledge

We help our guests understand marine life, so respect grows from awareness, not rules alone.

How we observe marine life

  • Keep a respectful distance from whales and dolphins.
  • Reduce speed and noise near marine life.
  • Never surround, separate or block animals.
  • Limit observation time to avoid disturbance.
  • Leave no trace: no single-use plastics on board.
  • Follow local regulations for cetacean observation.
