Boat rental without a licence: how it works
For boats up to 5 metres and 15 HP you do not need a nautical licence. Before departure you receive a safety and basic handling briefing. The navigation radius is up to 2 nautical miles from the Las Galletas/Arona coast for safety.

Skippered rental or with a licence
Larger boats require a licence (PNB, PER or higher). If you have no licence, you can hire a professional Ocean Friends skipper and enjoy the sea without a worry.
Documents and deposit
On the rental day you must present the original ID or passport of the contract holder and a card for the deposit. For a licensed rental, a valid nautical licence. You can bring your own food and drinks on board (no glass containers).
